In her first games back from injury, senior forward Marlene MacMillan made a huge impact, helping the Pioneers to a 1-1 road trip to open CCAA play. She had eight points, two blocks, and a team-leading eight rebounds (including four on the offensive end) in East Bay's 46-38 win over SF State on Friday. The next night, she led the team with 12 points and seven boards in the Pioneers' loss at Sonoma State. A second-team All-CCAA selection last year, MacMillan shot 44.4 percent for the weekend (8-for-18) and was tops on the team with 10.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg.
