Megan Satterfield posted the fastest 6k time in school history on Saturday to pace an impressive performance by the Pioneer women's cross country team at Sacramento State's Capital Cross Challenge. The Granada Hills native paced the squad to 13th place in a deep 25-team field that included 15 Division I squads and six members of the CCAA. The CSUEB women beat seven D1 programs in the 6k race, including San Diego State, UNLV, and Cal. 

Satterfield finished in 36th place individually, and was seventh among the Division II runners in the field. Her personal best 6k time of 22:00.7 shatters the previous program record of 22:28.73, which was set just last year.
