Savannah Schultz scored the lone goal last week for the Pioneer women's soccer team, which suffered a pair of heartbreaking one-goal losses on the road against two of the top teams in the conference in Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino. 

Schultz's first goal of the season came in the 81st minute of regulation on Sunday against the Coyotes. Just minutes away from a third straight shutout loss, Schultz found the back of the net to even the score 1-1 and force overtime. It was the second career goal for Schultz, who ranks second on the team in minutes this season, and it made her the sixth different Pioneer to score this year.
