AT EDMONDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at opposite for Edmonds Community College in Washington…Helped the Tritons to a third-place finish in the North Region of the NWAACC, clinching a spot in the playoffs…Woodward ranked in the top 15 in the NWAACC in service aces and was second on her team with 2.13 digs per game last season…Collected second-team All-NWAACC honors as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played four years of volleyball and basketball at Olympia High School…Guided the Bears to a league title in 2008…Helped the team to a second-place showing at district championships and to seventh place at the state tournament as a senior…Collected second-team all-league honors in both 2007 and 2008…Also played four seasons in the post for Olympia’s basketball team, serving as captain for one season.

PERSONAL: A double major in sociology and business with a human resources emphasis…Lists hiking, going to the beach and dogs as interests…Favorite movies are “Rockstar” and “Almost Famous”…Enjoys listening to everything except country…Chose Cal State East Bay for its location and volleyball program…Favorite foods include pizza and peaches…Has three siblings, Deidra (19), David (14) and Mathew (12)…Born June 12, 1991…Parents are Mel and Rhonda Woodward.
