AT OREGON STATE: Played setter for one season at Oregon State.

AT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT: Set for two seasons at Loyola Marymount…Started for the Lions in 2005…Notched 995 assists as a freshman to rank among LMU’s all-time leaders…Saw time in 48 games in 2006, posting 226 assists…Helped the Lions to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2005…Finished her career ranked eighth all-time in assists with 1,261.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A four-year letterwinner at Archbishop Mitty High School…Led the Monarchs to three state titles…Named Central Coast Section Most Valuable Player, a Cal-Hi Sports first-team All-American and Player of the Year as a senior…Also named San Jose Mercury News Player of the Year in 2005…Was a Volleyball Magazine "Fab 50" selection…Collected first-team All-Central Coast Section honors in each of her four seasons…Also a four-time All-West Catholic Athletic League selection…Played nine years of club volleyball with Vision, Golden Bear and Griffin clubs…Served as captain a total of six years…Also earned one letter as a guard for Mitty’s basketball team.

PERSONAL: A sociology major…Has an older brother, Marte, and two older sisters, Kelly and Stanford women’s volleyball Hall of Famer and two-time Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Kerri Walsh-Jennings…Models her game after sister Kerri…Favorite movies include "The Notebook," "Transformers," "Ice Age" and scary movies…Favorite foods are hot dogs, pasta, and Mexican food…Chose Cal State East Bay for the opportunity to compete and be part of a team again and for the coaching staff…Currently listening to Lil Wayne…Born Feb. 24, 1987…Parents are Tim and Margie Walsh.
