Leslie Ray enters her sixth year as an assistant coach for Pioneer women's volleyball in 2018. An alumnus of Cal State East Bay, Ray played under former head coach Jim Spagle from 2009-11.
As a senior, she competed in all 27 games as a defensive specialist and led the team with 548 digs (5.3 per set), helping the Pioneers to a 16-11 record and fifth place in the CCAA.
Ray graduated from CSUEB with a bachelor's degree in child development. A native of Long Beach, she was an All-American outside hitter at Long Beach Poly High School.
