AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Played in 24 games for the Pioneers and made one start... Averaged 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game... Third on the team with 22 assists... Shot 71.1 percent from the free throw line (27-38)... Scored in double figures twice, including a season high 15 points on 12/8/12 vs. CSU Monterey Bay... Grabbed a team-leading seven rebounds, a career high, on 1/26/13 at Chico State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12): Played in all 26 games for the Pioneers... Averaged 6.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game... Ranked fourth on the team with 33 assists... Led the team in scoring in two games... Shot .837 from the foul line, third-best on the Pioneers... Scored in double digits five times... Season-high 18 points came on 2/14 vs. Cal State Monterey Bay... Grabbed a season-high five rebounds on 2/24 vs. Chico State.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played three seasons of his prep career at Lancaster High School, graduating in 2011… Helped the Lancaster to the Golden League title as a freshman and collected all-league and all-valley honors as a junior… Averaged 10.3 points and 4.4 assists per game and collected second-team all-valley honors as a sophomore... Ranked 14th in the state in assists as a junior… Joined Santiago High School as the starting point guard and captain as a senior… Led Santiago in assists and steals and was second in scoring in 2010-11… Helped the Sharks to a playoff appearance… Also played three years of volleyball at outside hitter and defensive specialist… Played his club ball with BTI-Double Pump… Also played five years of travel ball with AAU teams… A three-time All-Star at West Coast All-Star Camp… A four-time Academic & Athletic Achievement honoree at Lancaster… A member of the California Scholarship Federation and a two-time Congressional Youth Leadership Council Nominee… Also participated in Associated Student Body and served as a Link Leader… Invited to the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine.

PERSONAL: Majoring in kinesiology… Enjoys fishing and wakeboarding… Lists Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Floyd Mayweather as his favorite athletes… Favorite foods are lasagna and strawberry short cake… Favorite movie is Malibu's Most Wanted… Favorite TV shows are NCIS and Adventure Time... Listens to Drake, Wale, Meek Mills, and Kendrick Lamar… Chose Cal State East Bay because of the amazing people who attend the University and because of the bay area weather… Has one sibling, Brandon (19)… Born August 29, 1992… Parents are Leo Mauldin and Stacy Worrell.
