Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2009): Received CCAA All-Academic recognition…Posted 175 kills and a .218 hitting percentage in 113 sets played…Second on the Pioneers with 73 blocks…Recorded season-bests of 15 kills versus Notre Dame de Namur and seven blocks against Chico State… Hit over .300 in nine matches including a season-best (.750, 9-12) versus Sonoma State.  

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008): Appeared in 93 games…Recorded 141 kills and had a team-best 59 blocks…Had 10 kills against Notre Dame de Namur and Menlo College…Hit over .300 in 16 matches…Recorded a season-high six blocks against Luther College.

AT UC SANTA CRUZ: Played one season at UC Santa Cruz…Served as the frosh captain…Set a program record for blocks in a season.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prepped at Palo Alto High School…Earned first-team All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League honors…Served as captain as a senior…Helped the Vikings take the SCVAL De Anza Division title in 2006…Part of the 2006 Harbor Tournament championship team…Played three seasons with City Beach Volleyball Club and Vision Volleyball Club…Served as captain for Vision in 2004-05…Won the 2006 Volleyball Festival title with City Beach.
