Cal State East Bay softball pitcher Marissa Quintero earned NFCA Division II All-West Region First Team honors following a dominant 2026 campaign in the circle for the Pioneers.

Quintero has emerged as one of the top pitchers in the West Region, posting a 27-8 overall record and a 1.23 ERA across 44 appearances and 29 starts. In 222.1 innings pitched, she has recorded 140 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .190 batting average.

The Pioneer ace has also totaled 23 complete games, five shutouts and four saves, helping lead Cal State East Bay to a 41-16 overall record and postseason berth.

Quintero's selection to the NFCA Division II All-West Region First Team places her among the elite players in the region and highlights one of the strongest pitching performances in recent program history.
