TURLOCK, Calif. — Cal State East Bay put together a steady three-round performance to finish tied for sixth at the Hanny/Stanislaus Invitational, held at Turlock Golf & Country Club.

The Pioneers carded a 24-over-par total, improving each round with scores of 11-over, 7-over and 6-over to climb into the top six by the end of the tournament.

Peyton Hendricks led the way with an impressive tie for third finish at 2-under-par. He followed an opening round of 72 with rounds of 69 and 70 to secure one of the top individual performances in the field.

Cooper Groshart was next for East Bay, tying for 38th at 3-over-par. Oscar Blomqvist and Jack Blinderman each finished tied for 41st at 2-over-par, while Cambron Nevill rounded out the scoring in a tie for 52nd at 5-over-par.

East Bay's consistent improvement across all three rounds, capped by its lowest round of the tournament in the final 18 holes, helped the Pioneers move up the leaderboard and secure a top-six finish.
