ALISA VIEJO, Calif. - For the first time in Cal State East Bay men's track & field history, a weekly CCAA award was bestowed upon one of its own. Amier Hollis was named FloCollege/CCAA Field Athlete of the Week. 

To open the 2026 season, Hollis placed second in two events during the Cal All Comers meet last Saturday in Berkeley. He had the top collegiate mark in the javelin throw of 45.87 meters and in the high jump, cleared 1.90 meters for the meet's collegiate best as well. 

Select Cal State East Bay field athletes return to action on March 6-7 for the Kim Duyst Invitational, at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium on the campus of Stanislaus State.
