LA MIRADA, Calif.- In an exciting finish that will be remembered for years to come, Cal State East Bay's women's soccer team clinched a dramatic 2-1 victory over Biola University with a penalty kick conversion in the final second of regulation at Al Barbour Field. The Pioneers have won two consecutive matches.

The Eagles got on the board first in the 19th minute when Marjie Rechin, assisted by Kierstin Havens, found the net to put Biola up 1-0.

However, the Pioneers' fighting spirit shone through as they quickly equalized less than five minutes later. Kella Folkerts notched her first career goal, thanks to an assist from Harlye Holliday - her second in as many matches.

As the clock ticked down and a draw loomed, a yellow card issued to Biola in the closing seconds of regulation.
