HAYWARD, Calif. - On Friday, the Cal State East Bay women's volleyball team won the first two sets against (RV) Sonoma State in CCAA action at Pioneer Gymnasium. The Seawolves roared back to even the match at 2-2 in sets to force a deciding set. Extra points were needed in the fifth set as the Pioneers prevailed to win 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 23-25, 17-15).

Set two had the Seawolves jump out to an early lead, but the set became even at 10-10 on a service ace from
Megan Crecelius. Both teams battled evenly in the set to reach 23-23. From there a kill from
Mia Jordan and an attack error by Sonoma State gave the Pioneers a 25-23 set win to lead 2-0.
