WAIPAHU, Hawaii – Cal State East Bay men's soccer remained unbeaten on the 2023 season after a 1-0 victory on Sunday evening against Hawai'i Pacific at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.
- After a scoreless first half, the Pioneers broke the tie with a 1-0 lead in the 62nd minute on a goal from Clayton Branco.
- Branco's goal was the third of his career at Cal State East Bay.
- Cal State East Bay men's soccer has reached a four-match unbeaten streak for the first time since the 2012 season.
- In net, Adan Corona picked up his second shutout of the season with four saves.
- The Sharks had a 14-6 advantage in shots in the match.
