"Easton and Xavier struggled holing putts this week despite their efforts," stated CSUEB head coach Alan Sue. "With a strong field of players, it would have taken a strong showing to move to [NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship]. Both guys had solid years and I'm really excited about Easton's future. Xavier I know will succeed as a financial advisor. We'll miss his contributions."
Sonoma State was declared a region champion after a playoff was called off due to darkness. A tiebreaker rule took effect to declare the champion. Griffin Pace of the Seawolves won the tournament's individual championship at 12-under-par 204.
