INDIANAPOLIS – The second day of action for Cal State East Bay women's swimming at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships took place Thursday. The Pioneers were involved with two individual events.
Highlighting the Pioneers success on Thursday was in the 400 yard individual medley.
Kylie Beaudet qualified for the consolation heat after achieving the 13
th best time in the prelims of four minutes, 25.60 seconds.
In the consolation final, Beaudet met a personal lifetime mark of 4:24.44, placing 14
th overall in the 400 yard individual medley. Beaudet earned individual All-American Honorable Mention.
CSUEB's other event on Thursday was the 200 yard freestyle, where
Brooklyn Dressel swam in the prelims with a time of 1:52.34.
The fourth day of the 2023 NCAA Championships is set for Friday at IU Natatorium. Although the prelims begin Friday morning for select individual events, the Pioneers' only event is scheduled for the evening session with the 200 yard freestyle relay.
