CHICO, Calif. - The CCAA has announced its 2022-23 all-conference selections for women's basketball. Three honors went to players on Cal State East Bay, including
Delia Moore,
Jaela Richardson and
Grace Campbell.
Delia Moore - All-CCAA Second Team
Moore finished an outstanding career with the Pioneers. Her second team selection was the second in as many seasons. In 2022-23, she averaged 12.1 points-per-game and had a team-high 73 assists (10th in the CCAA). Moore's .777 free throw percentage was fourth in the CCAA for qualifying players. Her most notable performance was a career-high 28 points in a 59-58 win over Cal State San Bernardino on February 4. Her layup with 1.5 seconds remaining lifted the Pioneers to a win, as she was named CCAA Player of the Week for her performance. She finished her career at Cal State East Bay with 819 points and is tied for seventh in Pioneer history for assists with 216.
Jaela Richardson - All-CCAA Second Team
Leading the Pioneers in scoring, and eighth in the CCAA, averaging 14.1 points-per-game was Richardson. She also had a .503 field goal percentage for the highest on the team and fourth in the conference. In five of the final eight games of the season, Richardson reached a double-double. In a win on February 9 at Cal Poly Humboldt, Richardson scored a season-high 30 points. Defensively, her 31 blocks was tied for second most in the conference.
Grace Campbell - All-CCAA Honorable Mention
Campbell averaged 11.1 points-per-game and 6.5 rebounds-per-game. Defensively, she had 39 steals (18th in the CCAA) and 17 blocks.

Jenny Thigpin reflected on the success of her players' recognition. "It's always great to see that our players are individually recognized for their accomplishments both on and off the court this season" stated Thigpin. "Each one of them worked extremely hard and had a huge impact on our team's success this year."
