However, the Warriors scored the next seven runs in the game for a 7-1 lead. CSUEB got one run back in the top of the seventh when Cynthia Carrillo was able to score after an error, but no more runs were scored thereafter and Stanislaus State won game one, 7-2.

Cal State East Bay 4, Stanislaus State 3 - Friday
Although the Warriors led 3-0 after four innings, the Pioneers got on the board in the top of the fifth inning. Carrillo hit an RBI single to drive in Kylie Coehlo, and later in the inning, Adriana Martinez hit a sacrifice fly RBI to drive in Sarah Duran

The seventh inning also included an RBI each from Carrillo and Martinez. Facing the final out trailing 3-2, Carrillo hit an RBI double to drive in Sydney Littles for the tying run. The go ahead run was scored by Carrillo when Martinez hit an RBI single.

Stanislaus State had the tying and winning runs in scoring position with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but a lineout and groundout sealed the victory for the Pioneers to even the series.

Cal State East Bay 6, Stanislaus State 0 - Saturday
Ysabella Cortez hit a bases clearing triple in the top of the second, driving in two runs for a 2-0 lead. The lead grew to 3-0 when Cortez scored after a fielder's choice and dropped fly ball for a 3-0 lead.

In the top of the seventh, Martinez launched a two-run home run for a 5-0 lead. Later in the inning, Jeslyn Cuellar hit an RBI single to drive in Annelise Garcia for a 6-0 lead.

Although two runners reached base for the Warriors in the bottom of the seventh, defensive awareness allowed for putouts on the bases off fielder's choice plays to preserve the shutout of 6-0 for the Pioneers.

Beard pitched a complete game shutout with four strikeouts.

In the series finale, the Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but in the third, CSUEB tied the game on a sacrifice fly RBI from Garcia.
