HAYWARD, Calif. - Cal State East Bay men's soccer played its first CCAA home match of the season on Friday at Pioneer Stadium, as the Pioneers hosted No. 19 Cal State Los Angeles. The Golden Eagles scored a goal less than a minute into the action and held on for the 1-0 victory.
Friday's match was the first for Pioneers head coach Mike Haswell facing the program where he previous served on the coaching staff.
- The Golden Eagles scored the lone goal of the match in the first minute on a Tommaso Belli strike after a pass from Jeppe Paulsen.
Cal State East Bay: 6-3-1, 1-2-0
