QUOTES

Cal State East Bay head coach Shane Pelton following the road trip to Alaska:
"Overall I think we raced very competitively. This was our first travel trip by plane this year. It's never easy to travel different time zones and have a full day of travel, then get up and race at a high level, but this team learned a lot this weekend and put a lot of energy into it.

"Delaney was a standout for me in the way she raced both days. This was the first time this season I saw her have that fire in her swims, a little extra racing spirit, and that desire to get her hand on the wall.

"The overall experience was special. This was the first time in my eight year tenure to take the team to Alaska and race UAF, but it was more than just the competition. There were a lot of firsts for people and a lot of memories that were created. Our team only grows and gets closer with trips like this."
