QUOTES

Cal State East Bay head coach Shane Pelton shared his thoughts on the team's performance throughout Friday and Saturday:
"Overall I was very pleased with our efforts this weekend. This is a long weekend of racing and can sometimes be difficult to keep energy up. Our team did an excellent job dialing it in and really performing our best as the meet went on.

"The back half of Saturday was really the highlight for me. We chatted about maintaining focus and really bringing the meet home.  We ended up winning the last eight events, with multiple 1-2 finishes. Not only the results, but the team energy and support for each other was second to none.

"Kylie had a big weekend for us. Winning both IM's and the 200 breaststroke in season best times.  She continues to improve and learns more each and every time she races. The more confident she becomes, the more dangerous she will be."
