Pioneers Score Pair of Goals in 3-2 Loss at Stanislaus State

TURLOCK, Calif. – Cal State East Bay women's soccer traveled to Turlock for the second match of CCAA action in a contest a Stanislaus State. The Warriors defeated the Pioneers 3-2.

GOAL SUMMARY
  • The Warriors got on the scoreboard in the 23rd minute on a Kayla Perez goal that shortly followed a missed penalty kick.
  • Perez netted her second goal of the match in the 48th minute to give Stanislaus State a 2-0 lead.
  • In n the 59th minute, the Pioneers were awarded a penalty kick. Mika Sayfurahman converted the opportunity into a goal, trimming the Warriors' lead to 2-1. For Sayfurahman, it was her second goal of the season. 
  • The Warriors scored what eventually became match-winning goal in the 77th minute on an Alexis Brewah shot.
