HAYWARD, Calif. – On Saturday, the Cal State East Bay men's basketball team picked up its third straight win in CCAA action with a 66-63 win over Stanislaus State.
The Pioneers built up a lead to as many as 11 points in the first half, but the Warriors battled back and regained the lead, 34-33 at the 1:01 mark. After both teams traded baskets in the final minute of the half,
Payden White drew a foul in the closing second and sank a pair of free throws for a 37-36 lead to take into halftime.
Both teams battled close in the second half, and the Pioneers held a 64-63 lead in the final minute. With 11 seconds remaining,
Garrett Pascoe made a jump shot to build the CSUEB lead to 66-63. Stanislaus State had one more chance to tie the game, but a 3-pointer was missed in the closing seconds, and
Tim Andreolli got the rebound to secure the Pioneers' win.
- Andreolli led the Pioneers in points and rebounds with 14 and seven respectively. Andreolli made three baskets from beyond the arc.
- With two steals each were Pascoe and Grady Lewis.
- The Pioneers were last on a win streak of three in February 2022.
- For the Warriors, Marlon Short scored 16 points.

Stanislaus State: 8-12, 6-8 CCAA
