CSUEB head coach
Mike Bielski following Saturday's match:
"We had a slow start and that hurt us. The first 10 minutes they jumped [out] on us and that was the difference in the game I think personally. If we would have played the way we played the rest of the 75 minutes or so, I think it's a different story. But I am very proud. We made progress today. Huge progress form the standpoint of that's one of the best games we played out of the four so far - the two scrimmages and the two non-conference games. Proud of the guys. We're going to learn from it and build on it. It was a good opponent so it was a very good test of where we stand. We're only going to get better at it. The guys know that and I know that. Not happy with the outcome but definitely happy with the progress."
