ARCATA, Calif. — Cal State East Bay women's basketball's Delia Moore has been named the recipient of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Elite 13 Award, the conference announced on Friday.

Moore was presented with the honor prior to the start of Friday's CCAA Tournament Semifinal contest against Cal State LA.

A native of Merced, Moore is a kinesiology major with a 3.969 grade-point-average (GPA). She was also the recipient of the honor in 2020, which was then called the CCAA Women's Basketball Championship Scholar Award.

The CCAA Elite 13 Award recognizes the academic and athletic achievement of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached competition at the Conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.

The Elite 13 Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating in each CCAA-Sponsored Championship.

Moore leads East Bay and ranks 15th in the CCAA in scoring, averaging 11.7 points per contest. She is also fourth in the conference in 3-point field-goal percentage (.357) and tied for fourth in steals per game (2.3).

CSUEB enters Friday's CCAA Semifinal with a 20-2 overall record and 15-1 mark in conference play.
