HAYWARD, Calif. — The No. RV/18 Cal State East Bay women's basketball team gets set for its final two home contests of the 2021-22 season this weekend, as the Pioneers play host to rival SF State on Thursday, Feb. 17, beginning at 5:30 p.m., before taking on Cal State Monterey Bay for Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m.

Both games will be streamed live on CCAA Network, and live stats will be available.

East Bay is 17-6 all-time against SF State, and has won three-straight meetings against the Gators. The Pioneers are 15-8 all-time against Cal State Monterey Bay, and have not lost to the Otters since Dec. 8, 2012.

CSUEB (18-2, 13-1) is ranked No. 3 in the West Region in the first NCAA official rankings released on Wednesday. East Bay is receiving votes in the latest WBCA Top 25 Coaches Poll and is No. 18 in the most recent D2SIDA Media Poll.

The Pioneers are coming off a pair of 15-point road victories against Sonoma State, 53-38, on Feb. 10, as well as against Cal Poly Humboldt, 64-49, on Feb. 12.

Junior Grace Campbell scored a team-high 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go with seven rebounds in the win at Sonoma State, as the 38 points allowed were the third-fewest given up by East Bay this season.

Campbell had another big game in the win at Cal Poly Humboldt, finishing with 13 points, as CSUEB won its third-straight game. Senior guard Madison Schiller and sophomore guard Zhane Duckett also scored 13 points apiece in the win.

The Pioneers still have the CCAA's top scoring defense this season, limiting opponents to only 55.2 points per game, and are the conference's top rebounding team with 42.6 per contest. They also have the second-best average margin of victory in the conference (10.6) and are third in team field-goal percentage (.398). 

Junior guard Delia Moore ranks 14th in the CCAA in scoring, averaging 11.7 points per contest, is four in 3-point field-goal percentage (.342) and third in steals per game (2.4).

Duckett ranks third in the conference with 3.6 assists per game, while freshman Taylor Linzie is sixth in rebounding with 7.7 per contest and Campbell is 10th averaging 6.5 per game.
