FINAL RESULTS

VISTA, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay men's golf team wrapped up action at this week's Fujikura Invite hosted by Cal State San Marcos at Shadowridge Golf Club, finishing 13th overall.

CSUEB shot 919 (+55) as a team, and was led by senior Xavier Coreno's 27th-place finish, as the senior shot 226 (+10) in the two-day event. Coreno shot a solid 74 in Round 2 and 73 in Round 3. 

Freshman Ananjan Kaushik tied for 42nd after shooting 230 (+14), while senior Quentyn Kowata shot 231 (+15) to tie for 47th overall.

Junior Fraser Owenson (237/+21) tied for 65th place, and sophomore Aaron Lee (239/+23) was tied for 73rd. 

Cal State East Bay returns to action next week, as the Pioneer men host the 2022 Bay Area Invitational at The Club at Ruby Hill in Pleasanton beginning Monday, Feb. 21. The CSUEB women will also be in action, as they host the Bay Area Invitational at at Calippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton starting on Monday, Feb. 21.
