Lewis Reaches 27 Points for Second Straight Game

HAYWARD, Calif. – On Saturday afternoon, the Cal State East Bay men's basketball team dropped a CCAA home game, 84-71 to Cal Poly Humboldt. Scoring a team-high 27 points for a second consecutive game was Grady Lewis.

GAME SUMMARY
 
With 12:59 left in the first half, Dimitrios Klonaras made a 3-pointer for a 15-11 lead. That would be the largest lead for the Pioneers. The game was eventually even at 26-26 on another 3-pointer from Klonaras at the 6:04 mark.
 
Through one half, Cal Poly Humboldt led 42-35.
 
Although the Pioneers cut the deficit in the second half to only two points at the 15:30 mark on a 3-pointer from Garrett Pascoe, the Lumberjacks did not relinquish their lead and pulled away late for an 84-71 win on Saturday.
