HAYWARD, Calif. – At Pioneer Pool on Saturday, the Cal State East Bay women's swim team lost double-dual meets to Nevada and UC Davis. However, multiple season best times were achieved for Cal State East Bay, and
Brooklyn Dressel had one first place finish and reached a personal best in another event.
Below are some of the notable performances for the Pioneers on Saturday.
- Dressel placed first in the 50 yard freestyle, achieving a time of 24.62 seconds.
- A personal best time for Dressel was achieved in the 100 yard butterfly of 1:00.30
- Miya French had two season best times in the double-dual meet. In the 1,000 yard freestyle, she finished in 11:03.48 and in the 500 yard freestyle, she finished with a time of 5:25.59.

This coming Friday and Saturday, the Pioneers will compete in the Slug Shootout, which will be back-to-back separate meets hosted by UC Santa Cruz. Friday's meet begins at 3 p.m., followed by Saturday's Slug Shootout on Saturday at 10 a.m.
