CARSON, Calif. – On Sunday, the Cal State East Bay women's soccer team scored two goals in a CCAA match, but ultimately lost after a late game-winning goal, falling 3-2 to Cal State Dominguez Hills. Morgan Pearson and Maya Lawrence scored a goal each for the Pioneers.
 

GOAL SUMMARY

• The Toros took a 1-0 lead in the 11^th minute as Kekoa Nelson capitalized on a penalty kick attempt.
• Less than three minutes later, Pearson found the net for the fourth time this season to even the match at 1-1. Mika Sayfurahman assisted on Pearson's goal for her second assist of the season.
• The Pioneers took a 2-1 lead in the 38^th minute, when Lawrence scored her first career goal at CSUEB, which was unassisted.
• In the 52^nd minute, Sabrina Barata netted the equalizer for CSUDH to even the match at 2-2. Lucia Yanez assisted on the goal.
• With 30 seconds remaining in regulation, the Toros went ahead 3-2 on a goal from Azalia Salazar, which shortly thereafter became the game winner. Yanez assisted on the game-winner.
