CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay men's soccer team played a CCAA road match against No. 2 Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday afternoon. In 90 minutes, the Pioneers shut out the Toros, and ultimately played to a 0-0 tie.
- Cal State East Bay became the first team all season to shut out the Toros during the 2022 season.
- The shutout credit in net for CSUEB went to Zavier Hajdukovich, who made five saves to preserve his sixth shutout of the season.
- The most offensive opportunities for the Pioneers in the form of shots with three each were from Aaron Farnan and Josh Gaeckle.
- Non-goalkeepers playing a full 90 minutes for the Pioneers include Farnan, Drew Gibbons, Peter Hawken, Aidan Raftery and Clayton Branco.
