SEASIDE, Calif. – At Cardinale Stadium on Friday, the Cal State East Bay women's soccer team came up short in a match at Cal State Monterey Bay, falling 2-1. Scoring her first goal of the season for the Pioneers was Kelsey Pena. 
 

GOAL SUMMARY

• Catalina Villegas scored in the 36^th minute to give the Otters a 1-0 lead. Amelia McManus assisted on the goal. 
• CSUMB took a 2-0 lead in the 59^th minute on a goal from Linda Nigg. Mitsy Ramirez had the assist.
• The Pioneers got on the board in the 66^th minute. Pena scored and Yvette Moreno had an assist.
