HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay swim team is set for its final home meet of the season on Saturday, as the Pioneers will host Azusa Pacific for Senior Day on Saturday, Jan. 15, at Pioneer Pool beginning at 10 a.m.
East Bay's home meet against San Jose State scheduled for Friday, Jan. 14, has been canceled due to COVID protocol.
CSUEB will honor its six seniors in a brief ceremony prior to the start of Saturday's meet.
East Bay is receiving votes in the latest CSCAA Top 25, despite not competing since Nov. 20.
In the Pioneers last action at Dixie State's Trailblazer Invite, freshman
Delaney Carlson posted 50 freestyle time of 23.94-seconds, which was an NCAA B cut. In addition, the the Missoula, Mont., native led off for the Pioneer 200 freestyle relay team that recorded a time of 1:35.17 along with teammates junior

Maddie Wittkowske earned PCSC Swimmer of the Week honors on Nov. 2 after a big weekend at the UC Santa Cruz Slug Shootout and the Bay Area Invitational, as the Stockton native placed first in the 500 and 1000 freestyles.

Alondra Ortiz earned PCSC Swimmer of the Week accolades on Oct. 19 after placing first in the 100 Back (59.01) and 200 Back (2:07.72) individual events.
