HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team looks to build on its six-game winning streak this weekend, as the Pioneers play host to non-conference foe Seattle Pacific on Saturday, Dec. 11, beginning at 1 p.m.
The contest will be streamed live on CCAA Network, and live stats will be available.
This will only be East Bay's second all-time meeting against Seattle Pacific (4-5, 1-1 GNAC), and the first-ever played in Hayward. The Pioneers are ranked No. 23 in this week's latest D2SIDA Top 25, and No. 3 in the D2SIDA West Regional poll.
CSUEB (7-1, 3-0 CCAA) is coming off a 2-0 road trip last weekend in Southern California, sweeping conference games against Cal State LA on Dec. 2, before earning a key victory over No. RV Cal State San Marcos on Dec. 4.

Delia Moore scored a game-high 20 points with two key 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter of the 64-56 win at San Marcos. Senior guard
Madison Schiller scored 12 points with four rebounds, and sophomore guard
Zhane Duckett finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals. It was East Bay's second-consecutive win at the Cougars' home gym.
Meanwhile, sophomore forward
Mina Tameliau scored a career-high 30 points with eight rebounds to lead the Pioneers over Cal State LA, 66-54. The Redwood City native shot 11-for-18 from the field and 4-for-7 from 3-point range.
Schiller leads the team and ranks 11th in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game, and is sixth in field-goal percentage (.452). Duckett is fifth in the CCAA in assists (3.3 per game) and is 12th in rebounding (6.6 per game).
After this weekend's non-conference game, East Bay resumes CCAA play next week at home against Cal Poly Pomona on Dec. 16 and against Cal State San Bernardino in a contest to be played at Holy Names University on Dec. 18.
