HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team looks to build on its momentum as it resumes conference play this week, as the Pioneers play host to Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday, Dec. 16, beginning at 5:30 at Pioneer Gym, before taking on Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. in a home game played at Tobin Gym on the campus of Holy Names University.

Both contests will be streamed live and live stats will be available.

There is limited seating available and limited capacity allowed for Saturday's contest played at Holy Names. Admission is not guaranteed to spectators, and proof of vaccination is required at the front gate of the university.

Cal State East Bay is ranked No. 21 in this week's latest D2SIDA Top 25 and is currently No. 3 in the West Region. However, the Pioneers are still unranked in the official WBCA Top 25 Coaches Poll.

After winning 7-of-9 meetings with Cal Poly Pomona from 2015-18, CSUEB has dropped its last four against CPP. The Pioneers have won two of their last three matchups against San Bernardino.

CSUEB (8-1, 3-0 CCAA) is coming off a non-conference home victory over Seattle Pacific, 57-55, on Dec. 11. Junior guard Delia Moore scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Pioneers to their seventh-straight victory.

Sophomore guard Zhane Duckett added 10 points with four rebounds, senior guard Madison Schiller finished with nine points and four rebounds, while sophomore forward Mina Tameliau added seven points with seven rebounds.

Schiller ranks 12th in the conference in scoring, averaging 13.6 points per game. The Ridgecrest native is also fourth in the CCAA in field-goal percentage (.459), while Moore is fifth in 3-point field-goal percentage (.351) and seventh in threes made per game (2.2).

Meanwhile, Duckett is seventh in the conference in assists per game (3.1), seventh in assist-to-turnover ratio (0.7) and fourth in steals per game (2.7).
