SAN FRANCISCO — The Cal State East Bay volleyball team's 2021 season came to an end on Saturday night, as the Pioneers dropped its season finale to SF State, 3-1 (21-25, 25-13, 25-14, 27-25)
East Bay jumped won the first set and led the fourth set 13-6, but was unable to hang on late and send the match to five sets.

Breyan Ashley finished off the season strong in her hometown, recording 12 kills, 16 digs and two blocks. Junior
Kara Green added 11 kills, junior Tuamafa Tuinauvai tallied eight kills with nine digs and redshirt freshman setter
Megan Crecelius had 32 assists.
