East Bay Falls Short Against Central Washington, 68-55

TURLOCK, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team started strong but dropped the final game of this weekend's CCAA-GNAC Crossover Classic, falling short against Central Washington, 68-55. 

Senior guard Madison Schiller scored a team-high 15 points with six rebounds, connecting on three 3-pointers. Fellow senior Delia Moore continued her strong start to the season, scoring 13 points with seven rebounds.

Sophomore guard Zhane Duckett finished with seven points, while freshman Taylor added six points with eight rebounds.

Leading by one at the end of the first quarter, a tough second quarter hurt the Pioneers as they were outscored 16-8. 

CSUEB (1-1) will be back in action next weekend at Stanislaus State, with contests against Academy of Art on Friday, Nov. 19 and against Holy Names on Saturday Nov. 20.
