Tami Kwong scored a goal early in the second half on Sunday, lifting the Cal State East Bay women's soccer team to a conference road victory over Humboldt State, 1-0.
CSUEB (7-3-2, 4-1-1 CCAA) is now unbeaten in five of its last six contests, and are tied for second place in the CCAA standings.
Kwong's fifth goal of the season came in the 47th minute, as the senior gathered a pass ahead from freshman
Jenna Villanueva while streaking downfield and knocked it through for the only score of the match. It was Villanueva's team-leading fourth assist of the season.

The Pioneers return home for two conference matches next week, beginning with a contest against Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, Oct. 22, beginning at 7 p.m.
