HAYWARD, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay women's basketball team well make the short trip to Seaside for Round Two of the Battle of the Bays, basketball edition Saturday afternoon, February 15 inside the Kelp Bed.

The Pioneers will be looking to complete the season sweep over the Otters for the sixth consecutive season as CSUEB has won 14 straight contests in the rivalry series.

East Bay is currently sitting third in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) standing with an 11-6 mark in conference play and a 15-8 mark overall on the season.

The Monterey Bay Otters enter their matchup with the Pioneers carrying a 6-13 overall record on the season with a 6-11 in CCAA action after sweeping their Southern California road trip over Cal State L.A and Dominguez Hills. Sylvia Vartazarian is leading CSUMB with 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds. Katie Fitzgerald is adding 11.6 points and 2.8 assists.
