HAYWARD, Calif., -- After a three-game home stand over the past two weeks, the Cal State East Bay women's basketball team will hit the road for a pair of California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) contests against Humboldt State and Stanislaus State.
 
East Bay will visit Humboldt State in Arcata on Thursday evening before wrapping up the weekend with a trip to Turlock to take on Stanislaus State. CSUEB defeated Humboldt State, 59-58 back on December 14 and East Bay also knocked off Stanislaus State, 82-70 on December 22.
 
The Pioneers are currently third in the CCAA Standings with a 9-3 mark in league play and 13-5 overall record on the season.

  • Schiller has collected a team-high 35 steals on the season, 5th best in the CCAA. She is also averaging 9.3 points, 2.9 rebounds on 46.2 percent shooting.
  • Regina Sankey is leading the Pioneers with 9.2 ppg on 43% shooting. Sankey is also tied for second on the team with 21 steals.
 
 
SCOUTING HUMBOLDT STATE
The Humboldt State Lumberjacks enter their matchup against the Pioneers carrying a 9-8 record overall on the season with a 5-7 mark in CCAA action after falling to Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. last week. Alexia Thrower is leading Humboldt State with 21.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Tyra Turner is adding 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists for the Lumberjacks.
 
SCOUTING STANISLAUS STATE
The Stanislaus State Warriors come into their game against East Bay with a 9-8 overall mark on the season and a 7-5 showing in league games after falling to Cal State L.A. before defeating Cal State Dominguez Hills last week. Kyanna Davis is leading the Warriors with 13.9 points and 7.4 rebounds. Kaleigh Taylor is chipping in 11.6 points and 5.6 rebounds for Stanislaus State.
