HAYWARD, Calif. — The Cal State East Bay men's basketball team is set for two key home matchups this week, as the Pioneers play host to Bay Bridge rival San Francisco State on Thursday, Jan. 16, as well as Sonoma State on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Cal State East Bay (9-7, 5-5 CCAA) is coming off a narrow defeat against Cal State Monterey Bay on Jan. 11, which snapped a six-game winning streak against the Otters.

Evan Wardlow and junior forward
Josh Dhatt led the way with 12 points apiece, while seniors
Ant Navarrete and
Trent Warren each added 11 points.
The two contests wrap up the Pioneers' current three-game homestand, as CSUEB will then hit the road for games at Humboldt State on Jan. 23 and at Stanislaus State on Jan. 25.
