HAYWARD, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay Women's Basketball team will host a pair of California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) home games at Pioneer Gymnasium this week.

The Pioneers will take on the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and will conclude the weekend with a contest against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks on Saturday afternoon at 1:00.

East Bay is currently sitting atop the CCAA Standings with a 4-0 mark in league play. The Pioneers who recently moved into the No. 6 spot in this week's D2SIDA WBB West Regional Poll as the have a now won seven consecutive games to improve to 8-2 overall.

The San Bernardino Coyotes enter their matchup against the Pioneers with a 0-5 overall record on the season after back-to-back losses to Cal Poly Pomona and UC San Diego in their last outings. Tatianna Russell leads the Coyotes with 12.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Kayla Bibb is adding 12.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest for CSUSB.

The Humboldt State Lumberjacks come into their contest with East Bay with a 7-2 overall showing with a 3-1 conference mark after defeating Cal Poly Pomona before falling to Cal State Monterey Bay last week. Alexia Thrower leads CCAA with 21.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Gabrielle Carbajal is chipping in 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
