Pioneer Volleyball Headed to Otter Tank for "Battle of the Bays" Match Against Monterey Bay

HAYWARD, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay volleyball team will continue hit the road for episode two of their 'Battle of the Bay's" matchup against Cal State Monterey Bay Friday night, November 1 in the Otter Tank.  
 
East Bay has now won two consecutive matches over Monterey Bay and took seven of the last 10. The Pioneers defeated the Otters 3-1, on October 18 which was their last victory inside Pioneer Gymnasium. CSUEB is currently 4-15 on the season with a 3-8 mark in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).

The Monterey Bay Otters are currently 5-14 on the season with a 1-11 mark in conference play after losses to East Bay and San Francisco State in their last two matches. Jenna Tobin leads the Otters with 225 kills and 260 total points. Tobin also leads Monterey Bay with 218 digs.
