SAN FRANCISCO — The No. 14-ranked Cal State East Bay women's cross country team sent a select group of runners to compete in the SF State Invitational on Friday, Oct. 11, at Golden Gate Park.
CSUEBÂ placed seventh overall as juniorÂ
Lauryn Orozco finished first among all Pioneers and 21
st overall in the 6K, crossing the finish line with a time of 24-minutes, 7.5-seconds.
Senior
Brittney Duquette earned 35
th place with a time of 24:50.4, while sophomore
Alexandra Cholometes was only tenths of a second behind in 36
th overall, also with a time of 24:50.4.
Junior
Jodi Go was the fourth Pioneer to finish, posting a mark of 26:14.5, and juniorÂ
Gisel Juarez placed 90
th (31:36.2).
Cal State East Bay returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 19, when the Pioneers compete in the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational beginning at 9:30 a.m.
