HAYWARD, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay men's soccer team was unable to net a goal in Friday afternoon's 3-0 home loss to visiting California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) opponent Cal State Dominguez Hills at Pioneer Stadium.

The Pioneers (2-9-1, 0-7 CCAA) snapped their three game goal streak after taking 11 shots and four corner kicks against the Toros (7-3-1, 4-1 CCAA). Dominguez Hills was able to turn their 16 shots and nine corner kicks into two goals before intermission and a goal within the final 10 minutes of play.

Juan Hernandez put in the first goal of the afternoon in the 10th minute of action. Kian Meyer would put in his first goal of the season in the 40th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the intermission. Tommie Hession-Harris would score the Toros final goal of the day and his first goal of 2017 in the 82nd minute of the match.

Grant LaFleur tallied three shots each for the Pioneers.
Jonathan Cuevas added two shots for East Bay while
Brett Fuchs,
Tin Nguyen and
Kyle Stokes all chipped in one shot apiece for CSUEB.

East Bay will conclude their weekend home stand with a matchup against Cal State L.A. on Sunday morning, October 8. Kickoff will be at 11:30 a.m. at Pioneer Stadium.
