The Pioneers (2-4, 0-1 CCAA) shot just 32.7 percent from the field, compared to 48.1 percent for the Broncos (4-2, 1-1 CCAA). "Cal Poly Pomona played a complete game on both ends of the floor," said head coach
Gus Argenal after the loss. "They were the better team for 40 minutes and played with a great sense of urgency. We need to play harder and more together if we're going to accomplish the things we want to accomplish in this league. We have a lot of improving to do."
