TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay soccer teams will finish up the season on the road this Thursday, Oct. 30, against Cal State Stanislaus. The Pioneers will look to play spoiler against a pair of Warrior squads that are looking to make the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) on the final day of the regular season.

Men's Soccer at Cal State Stanislaus (Match Preview)
Cal State East Bay (4-8-5, 0-6-4 CCAA) will look to repeat its effort last season against Cal State Stanislaus (6-7-3, 4-4-2 CCAA) earning a 2-1 overtime victory in the regular season finale. It was the first Pioneer victory over the Warriors since joining the league back in 2009.

Stanislaus is coming off a much needed victory versus Cal State Dominguez Hills this past Sunday. The Warriors are in control of their own destiny as a win against the Pioneers clinches a berth into the CCAA Postseason tournament.

Despite playing six overtime matches in league play this season, East Bay is hoping to notch a CCAA victory in its final opportunity of the season. Stanislaus is 4-4-1 this season at Warrior Stadium and winners of three of its past four home contests.

Women's Soccer at Cal State Stanislaus (Match Preview)
Cal State East Bay (6-9-2, 3-7-0 CCAA) can close the door leading to the CCAA Postseason for Cal State Stanislaus (12-4-1, 5-4-1 CCAA) with a win on Thursday. The Pioneers are 0-4-0 against the Warriors since joining the CCAA and were outscored 10-0 during that stretch.

Stanislaus (16 pts) sits in seventh place by one point in the CCAA standings heading into the final night of competition. UC San Diego (17 pts) and Sonoma State (18 pts) will be scoreboard watching to see if the Pioneers can pull an upset and spoil Stanislaus' "Senior Night."

The Warriors are in this position after dropping three straight 1-0 decisions late in the season. Stanislaus bounced back with a tie versus No. 7 Cal State L.A. and most recently a 2-0 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills.
