SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Cal State East Bay swimming split its tri-meet on Saturday defeating UC Santa Cruz and falling to Simon Fraser. Sierra MacIntyre won the 50-yard freestyle and Madison Hauanio in the 100-yard freestyle to lead the Pioneers.

Unofficially Simon Fraser defeated Cal State East Bay by a 111-81 final score. No official team scores or times were provided at the time of release.

"Rachel Shimizu finishing third place in the 200 free, right after doing the 1,000 free was very impressive," complimented East Bay Head Coach Ben Loorz. "Mariam Lowe had a nice time drop to finish second in the 200 back as well."

Cal State East Bay (2-1) will head to Alaska Fairbanks for a pair of dual meets from Nov. 14-15.
