HAYWARD, Calif. – Cal State East Bay (0-4-0, 0-2-0 CCAA) has hit the road to face off against two California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) opponents this weekend. The Pioneers head north to face Humboldt State (3-1-0, 1-1-0 CCAA) on Friday, and on their way back home they will take on No. 15 Sonoma State (4-0-0, 2-0-0 CCAA) on Sunday.

CSUEB goalkeeper Donna Williams currently ranks third in the CCAA with 20 saves in three starts this season. The Pioneers have yet to break through in the scoring column this season but have put 10 of their 30 shots this year on target. Megan Ravenscroft and Ariana Gordon have combined to take half of the team's attempts this year.

Humboldt State won just one game and finished last in the final conference standings a year ago. This season the Jacks have already won three contests and are coming off a shutout victory over San Francisco State. Lizzie Mitchell and Ariel Diehl lead the Jacks with two goals apiece this season.

Sonoma State won the CCAA North a year ago in qualifying for the conference tournament. In four games this season the Seawolves have outscored the opposition 15-0. Teammates Lauren Curtin and Alicia Mertz are tied for second in the conference with four goals each. Curtin and Lauren Fryer are tied for the league lead with three assists each.
