Senior right-hander Matt Fontaine has been dealing for the Pioner baseball team down the stretch. Last week he picked up two of the team's three victoires over Dominguez Hills, including a complete game with 10 strikeouts in the opener. The Tracy native was named CCAA Pitcher of the Week on Apr. 22 as a result. Fontaine kept it going this weekend against SF State. They threw another complete game on Friday for his fifth win of the season as East Bay captured the series over the Gators. Fontaine's 1.66 ERA for the season is fifth-best in the CCAA.
